Have you been listening to our episodes and thinking, “Gee, they sound super awkward. I wonder if they are…”? Wonder no more! Enjoy Brandi and John in their full, awkward glory in their first YouTube video!
Brandi recently visited the Braxton Labs and got to sample a flight of what they had on tap… along with some more unexpected delicacies.
For the sake of everyone’s sanity, unlike last episode we won’t be including videos for every game we mention in the episode, just the ones we’re the most hyped about! Brandi and John are both heavily debating getting into (Brandi)/back into (John) Elder Scrolls Online for the new Elsweyr expansion, especially since more content in the expansion released during their E3 event. If you want to check it out but feel overwhelmed, John recommends looking into the great content from Dottz Gaming. If you prefer the filthy casual route (which both Brandi and John also play), you can check out the mobile game Elder Scrolls: Blades. It’s coming to the Nintendo Switch in the fall, too. Be sure to drop us a line and let us know which control scheme you use if you play it! Just don’t be too salty if you’re just now getting started and missed out on all of the in-game goodies they gave away for E3.
Ghostwire Tokyo looks like straight nightmare fuel, but we’ll throw money at anything created by the best human being on the planet, Ikumi Nakamura. Don’t believe us? Check out the fan art people did of her after her E3 presentation! There’s no release date for it yet, but we’re already thinking Brandi is going to need to stream herself playing it.
The Devolver Direct was super trippy, but also pretty entertaining. We still have no idea what the hell was going on. And yes, the House of the Gundead announcement was REAL. The arcade cabinet should be available in the first quarter of 2020 for a cool $5,000 USD. Fingers crossed a local barcade gets it!
John’s going to have to start pinching his pennies to buy a Nintendo Switch now. Both he and Brandi are going nuts for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, coming November 15, 2019. We highly recommend you also check out the 30-minute gameplay demo to see the insanely slick new style!
Brandi is straight up losing her shit over how many paths she’s going to make in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Assume delays in our future episodes once she gets her hands on it on March 20, 2020. You can see the path-making and more in their gameplay demo.
Brandi and John are both geeked for the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Brandi will be playing it for the first time while John will be getting nostalia’d right in the feels from when he played it on the original Game Boy. Relive the classic in the gameplay demo.
Sadly, we didn’t see anything for the Untitled Goose Game, which Brandi has been waiting for since 2017. According to the website it’s supposed to release on the Switch and PC in 2019.
Best of all… we’re down to just two weeks for Brandi to pick up her puppy! Here’s what he looked like during a recent road-trip where she got to visit him!
